Position Summary: • The Manager of Performing Arts will play a key role in developing programs and delivering events at the Galaxy Auditorium. This will involve program curation, planning and execution, marketing and audience development, and program management on a day-to-day basis. Primary Responsibilities: • Develop and deliver programs and events at the Galaxy Auditorium or other properties under Galaxy Entertainment Group as requested. • Support the AVP – Performing Arts in curating, planning and producing of programs from concept to execution. • Created program budget and negotiate contractual term with artists, promoters and other external stakeholders. • Co-ordinate the administrative process for the success delivery of programs with internal stakeholders including but no limited to administration, finance, sales, marketing, operations and technical teams. • Manage the performing arts programs on a day-to-day basis. • Research on latest industry trend and key artists, keep an updated database of the latest contacts. • Contribute to new initiatives in the context of programming and audience development strategy. Requirements: • Min. 5 years of relevant working experience in performing arts programming and marketing. • Degree holder in Arts/Cultural Management, Production and Event Management, Theater and Entertainment Production, Marketing, Music, or Performing Arts related discipline. • Experience of performing arts programming, production and marketing. • Experience of administering and negotiating contracts with artists and agencies. • Experience of creating and managing program budget with business acumen. • Knowledge of a broad range of music genres such as classical and jazz, knowledge of other art forms such as dance is an advantage. • Ability to multitask with good time management skills. • Attention to details with excellent organization skills. • Excellent interpersonal skills with a collaborative attitude.
