POSITION SUMMARY: This role will contribute to the corporate reputation building of Galaxy Entertainment Group (GEG) by supporting ongoing industry analysis and a variety of strategic content, ranging from executive briefing, speaking note, to newsletter and corporate presentation. This would be a rewarding role for any middle-level communications professional who is aspired to apply strategic thinking and corporate storytelling to strengthen the corporate brand of an ever-growing, world-class integrated resort operator. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: • Monitor and analyze news articles, policies, competitors' activities and industry trends across multiple media channels, and update internal stakeholders in a timely manner; • Support the team on development of policy digest, corporate submissions to Government, and corporate viewpoints; • Develop, write and edit communications materials, including social media and corporate marketing content; • Create reports benchmarking campaign performances of industry peers, ; • Coordinate and work with designers and other internal stakeholders on developing compelling and effective visual communication assets relevant to the social media posts, newsletter, website and other printed materials; • Support team's administrative duties, e.g. vendor liaison, budgeting, etc.; • Contribute to a culture that fosters intellectual curiosity and champions insight-led communication. REQUIREMENTS: • Bachelor degrees or above from an accredited college or university; major in journalism, communications, public affairs, or public administration; • Experience in developing PowerPoint and utilizing excel program; • Minimum four years of experience in public affairs, public relations, policy research, journalism or other related capacity; • Excellent English and Chinese writing skills, with the ability to adjust writing style and tone of voice according to the audience; • Proven ability to support policy research and industry analysis, and produce high-quality corporate reports under senior's coaching and guidance; • Excellent social media skills including content creation, analytics and measurement; • Attention to detail and accuracy in work. Strong time management and organizational skills; • Experience managing communications vendors, creating/managing project budgets; • Experience managing visual communication and directly using graphic design tools would be an advantage; • Ability to take the initiative and work as a team player.
