POSITION SUMMARY Assist AVP - MICE Sales - Corporate to lead the Corporate Team in achieving profit and value maximization toward MICE across all properties within GEG; organize & direct a multi-discipline pursuit team to develop strategic sales deliverables. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITES • Work closely with Galaxy Macau MICE Sales Team and Hotel Partners on maximizing business opportunities for the whole GEG precinct • Monitor competitors’ products & services, including relevant sales and marketing data • Develop and maintain positive relationships with key clients and intermediaries for assigned business segment, including negotiating and closing on major contracts • Attend various industry events as a representative of GEG and explore business opportunities • Work closely with internal departments to ensure the smoothness of all events • Based in Macau, frequent travelling to other destinations to meet business needs is required • Achieve sales target set by company and update sales activities in Delphi fdc properly • Manage their onw bookings in Delphi system accurately and input business update in they system • Maintain professional communications with internal and external clients • Open and positive attitude to learn new things from operation departments and have active communication with ops teams • Develop new accounts in dedicated markets and manage existing clients to maximize business opportunities REQUIREMENTS • Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Business Administration, Marketing or equivalent experience • high level of understanding on Delphi fdc and property management system • 3 years working experience in MICE sales • Proven track record with minimum six years’ experience in working in convention & exhibition centers or hotels with meeting facilities • Good presentation skills • Fluent in English, Cantonese and Putonghua • Excellent written (in English, traditional Chinese and simplified Chinese) and verbal communication skills • Ability to create and maintain positive relationships with current and prospective clients • Demonstrated skill in negotiating and closing on sales contracts • Ability to work independently and good in problem solving skills • Creative and well known the market trend • Good team player
